Tunde Noibi · Technology, Product & Innovation

I build at the intersection of technology, product, people and possibility.

Tunde Noibi

For more than two decades, I've helped turn ideas into platforms, technology into business value, and teams into organizations capable of building what's next. Now I'm applying those lessons to businesses and products of my own.

01 / Origin

My story started by crossing borders.

Born in Suakoko, Liberia, in the middle of a coup d'état. At about three months old he left for Iowa, then Lagos for kindergarten and grade school, then back to the United States at eleven, settling near Atlanta.

  4. Atlanta

    Georgia

Returned to the U.S. at eleven. Where he came of age: education, early work, marriage, fatherhood, and most of a career.

Movement and adaptation were part of the story before there was language for either one.

Those transitions meant exposure to different cultures, expectations and ways of communicating. Later they became part of the context he brought to leading diverse teams across countries and time zones, and to seeing systems as combinations of people, process, technology and incentives rather than technology alone.

02 / Foundation

Before I led technology, I learned how it worked.

  1. 2000

    POS Systems

    Radiant Systems

Supported point-of-sale hardware and software in the entertainment division, implemented the Radiant Theatre Management System, and performed on-site installation at AMC and Regal theatres. When a POS system fails, a line forms. Software has consequences in the real world.

  2. 2001

    Web + Applications

    MaX Web Solutions

Built websites and web applications with small-business clients, exploring the practical question of how the internet could help them reach customers.

  3. 2004

    Infrastructure

    Interland / Web.com

IIS, FTP, Windows and UNIX servers, SQL and MySQL connectivity, ecommerce applications, SSL, SMTP, Active Directory. The web stopped being only what appeared in the browser.

  4. 2005

    Data

    AutoTrader.com

Dealership inventory feeds and image data, diagnosed with SQL and UNIX. Data quality, integration, and customer experience were already inseparable.

Connect

03 / Connect

Then I learned that systems become more powerful when they connect.

2006

Air2Web

Lead Technical Analyst, Client Messaging Services

Helped brands launch mobile experiences during the early days of SMS marketing and digital content. Worked directly with major wireless carriers on campaign strategy, approvals, compliance, and technical integrations, while deploying mobile content. Including high-volume ringtone programs generating millions in sales.

2008

C360 Solutions / CDC Software

Senior Application Analyst

Microsoft Dynamics CRM integrations, SQL Server, production support, escalations, and working with development on defects and product solutions.

2008–2009

Global Integration & Data Management

B2B ecommerce integrations from requirements through production: EDI, XML, flat files, AS2, HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, WebMethods.

2009–2013

ExactTarget / Salesforce

Technical escalation owner, mission-critical customer programs

Millions of messages, ecommerce activity, transactional communications, customer journeys, loyalty and revenue. Behind the visible campaigns: APIs, scripting, landing pages, XML, SQL, Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics integrations, data flows and automation. A front-row seat to a company scaling, going public, and becoming part of Salesforce.

Technology isn't the outcome. What it enables is.

  • Growth.

04 / Build

Meet customers inside the way they already work.

A legacy PHP-based eContracting platform, and no modern web-services integrations into Dealer Management Systems. Dealers should not have to leave the systems they already use simply to access F&I products.

Tunde helped modernize the platform and built the API and web-services strategy that made Safe-Guard products available through DMS and Menu platforms, reducing workflow friction, increasing eContracting volume and supporting dealer adoption.

Building the technology wasn't enough. I had to learn how to build the organization around it.

Eventually, the hardest systems I worked on weren't technical. They were teams.

Business and Premier Support were not internal tiers; they were paid offerings that had to be positioned, packaged, sold, adopted and renewed. Tunde worked on pricing and packaging, sales enablement, positioning, escalations and a video-based onboarding experience his boss called a “smash hit.”

  • True Leader.
  • One Team.
  • Customer First.

When Marketo closed its Atlanta office, relocation to Denver was on the table. It did not fit the life he and Maima were building. Career decisions could not be separated from family decisions.

Build people who can build.

05 / Imagine

What if technology wasn't just delivery?

What if it helped create the idea?

BrightWave · 2018–2019

Senior Director → VP of Platform Technology

Data engineers, front-end developers, hybrid designer/developers and platform developers inside the Customer Experience organization. Tunde created the Tech Owner role, introduced offshore capacity, and built a technology group that could operate across an ecosystem rather than a single vendor.

Helped turn technology from a delivery function into a competitive differentiator. Built a QA framework for data-driven email programs, integrated well into CX delivery group and helped launch a new email deliverability service. Expanding BrightWave’s capabilities as the company grew toward its eventual acquisition by Ansira.

Luckie · 2019–2021

A traditional agency was the appeal: a chance to make digital technology, data, marketing platforms and emerging technology a larger part of what the agency could imagine and sell. The team grew from roughly 12 to 18–20 across onshore, nearshore and offshore resources.

Radio Recliner

Then someone asked a strange question.

Could we build an online radio station run by seniors isolated inside retirement communities?

Yes.

The call came from Luckie's Chief Creative Officer. Tunde helped architect the solution, and his team built the online radio capability and Alexa integration for what became Radio Recliner, a pirate radio station powered by resident DJs.

Sometimes the best technology disappears behind the human experience it makes possible.

Delivery consumes today. Innovation creates tomorrow. Three organizations, three contexts, one repeated leadership instinct: create protected space to explore while core delivery continues.

Customers don't experience your org chart.

A former Marketo leader called. Outreach was moving upmarket and needed to mature premium support and escalation. Tunde led an organization of roughly 30 people, strengthened the escalation operating model, and developed Premium Support Engineers into Technical Account Managers for strategic enterprise customers.

Go-to-market

If your organization creates value but nobody understands that value, leadership has not finished the job.

Tunde had left Luckie in 2021 intending to build Ondgo Solutions. The entrepreneurial impulse was already there; Ondgo stayed alive through part-time consulting while Outreach pulled him back into a full-time operating role.

CTO

Years earlier, I had put three letters on a vision board.

A familiar voice called with a problem Tunde had heard before. They had worked together at Safe-Guard, and that colleague was now leading marketing at DigniFi, a point-of-sale auto-financing company that wanted its financing to be easier to access inside dealer systems and partner experiences.

DigniFi launched integrations with CDK and myKaarma and developed a broader platform vision: turn financing capabilities into a platform other businesses could integrate into their own customer experiences. Alongside it, a Ruby on Rails environment was modernized gradually toward Java while the business kept running.

Product + Engineering + BI / Data

After the CMO left, Tunde took responsibility for BI/Data as well, bringing Product, Engineering and Data under one umbrella, alongside IT, budgets, vendors and resource planning for an organization of roughly 20–25 people.

07 / Begin Again

I spent years helping other companies build.

Eventually, I had to ask myself…

What would I build?

The consumer problem

  • Points
  • Coupons
  • Balances
  • Offers
  • Loyalty programs
  • Punch cards

My rewards were everywhere.

Why are businesses that share many of the same customers all trying to create loyalty independently?

In 2024 Tunde decided to build something of his own. Large brands can afford CRM, personalization, automation, analytics and the teams to run them. A local salon, restaurant, retailer or independent business often cannot. Loyal Locker is a shared rewards network for community-driven businesses, self-funded, built partly by hand, and shaped by merchant conversations.

Businesses that grow together.

Knowing how to build doesn't automatically tell you what to build first.

Tunde's background made a broad POS ecosystem feel natural: merchants use different platforms, so integrate with many of them. But every integration carries engineering, testing, maintenance, support, platform changes and attention, and a startup does not have the capacity of the organizations he had led.

Technical possibility ≠ market necessity

Experience taught me what's possible. Entrepreneurship is teaching me what's necessary.

Change is inevitable.

Stay flexible.

Stay focused on the dream.
